Burwood Health now offers 30 minute appointments with our nurses to discuss your Diabetes, either for your annual review or ongoing management.
Your annual Diabetes review is a partially Government funded visit, and is a great change to get your Diabetes under control and help prevent any Diabetes related complications
ANNUAL DIABETES REVIEW
An annual Diabetes review is an important part of your Diabetic Care Management and is a great way to touch base with your clinical team about your health condition and any changes to your lifestyle.
An annual check includes:
- Yearly foot checks
- 2-yearly Retinopathy screening
- 6-monthly blood tests (including HbA1c)
- 1-yearly blood tests (including Electrolytes, Lipids and more)
- Blood pressure
- Weight
