If you have a cough, fever, sore throat, runny nose or have been in contact with COVID,  you will be triaged by a Dr or Nurse to assess if you need a COVID swab.  Please do not enter the building.

Staff Changes

We are very sad to be saying goodbye to Dr Kate Hill, who is taking some time out from General Practice.  She has been a very valued member of the Parklands and Burwood Health teams for several years.  We wish her all the best.  We welcome Dr Gort Stephan, who is initially working 3 days a week.

The COVID Pandemic has changed the way we operate, please note the following:

1.  Booking an Appointment

No online bookings.  All appointments to be made via phone. WE ALWAYS HAVE URGENT APPOINTMENTS AVAILABLE. IF YOU ARE UNWELL, WE RECOMMEND THAT YOU PHONE THE PRACTICE BETWEEN 8 AND 9AM . You will have a phone call back from a doctor or a nurse who will assess your priority.

If you would prefer a virtual appointment, i.e. via phone, please tell Reception who will discuss with your GP.  This will incur the same charges as a regular appointment.

Level 1 Guidelines:

  • Please do not attend the appointment early.
  • Please only bring a maximum of one support person.
  • Use QR code on arrival.
  • Sanitise your hands on arrival and departure of the building.
  • Feel free to wear a mask.

Level 2 Guidelines:

About Us

We are a brand new purpose-built medical hub that brings together the teams from Parklands Medical Centre, Queenspark Healthcare and Dr Philippa Ryan, previously from QE2 Medical centre.

Located just down the road from Burwood Hospital, you’ll find we have ample parking, wonderful new family-friendly facilities and a lovely view over the wetlands. You’ll also find Unichem Medical Pharmacy next door, all under one roof.

While Burwood Health is a brand new offering, our team of five doctors have many years of experience and a long association working with the local community. We have joined forces to create an independent medical centre to provide our patients with the very best health care.

We belong to Pegasus Health, one of the country’s largest primary healthcare organisations.

Our Vision

Our vision is to provide you with the highest standards of personalised healthcare, ensuring you’re treated with respect, warmth and genuine kindness. The focus of general practice is changing, and we now do a lot more than just help patients when they’re unwell or injured. We also believe in empowering you to take care of your own health, whether that’s keeping up with immunisations, reducing risk factors and screening for disease, or simply encouraging you to monitor your exercise with a Fitbit!

Our Services

Burwood Health provides a range of services.
