Our brand new medical centre – with lots of history
We are a brand new purpose-built medical hub that brings together the teams from Parklands Medical Centre, Queenspark Healthcare and Dr Philippa Ryan, previously from QE2 Medical centre.
Located just down the road from Burwood Hospital, you’ll find we have ample parking, wonderful new family-friendly facilities and a lovely view over the wetlands. You’ll also find a pharmacy, and soon, even a cafe, all under one roof.
Enrolments are currently closed
While Burwood Health is a brand new offering, our team of five doctors have many years of experience and a long association working with the local community. We have joined forces to create an independent medical centre to provide our patients with the very best health care.
We belong to Pegasus Health, one of the country’s largest primary healthcare organisations. Our practice will continue to hold the previous accreditation that we have all had through the Royal NZ College of GPs, Foundation standards.
Our vision is to provide you with the highest standards of personalised healthcare, ensuring you’re treated with respect, warmth and genuine kindness. The focus of general practice is changing, and we now do a lot more than just help patients when they’re unwell or injured. We also believe in empowering you to take care of your own health, whether that’s keeping up with immunisations, reducing risk factors and screening for disease, or simply encouraging you to monitor your exercise with a Fitbit!
