Feeling worried about sending your children back to school?

There are many ways to help your family as you begin the new school year.

Step one:

Acknowledge that you are feeling these things.

It is completely normal to feel stressed when we have many uncertainties in our communities and layers of worry. As human beings we really like our routines, so when disruption occurs, it can feel really uncomfortable.

Step Two:

Parents remember to keep yourself well and learn ways to manage your own stress.

Our little people look to us for safety and observe our behaviour. If we are stressed it can be hard to keep our lens on our children.

Remember children are NOT little adults.
